In this course you will learn advanced techniques used in tailoring a blazer or jacket. By working on samples, you will practice step by step with professional methods applied in traditional tailoring. You will explore techniques such as constructing a lapel collar, working with different types of interfacings and linings, setting in shoulder pads, and making welt pockets. Special attention will be given to precision, pressing techniques, and achieving the perfect finish.

This course is designed for advanced students who already master beginner and intermediate skills and are ready to take the step towards creating more complex, tailored garments.

Second class
Split with press studs, how to sew a breast dart

Third class
How to stitch a breast pocket, how to stitch a center back vent with lining

Fourth class
How to stitch a welt pocket with flap

Fifth class
How to stitch a sleeve slit with a lining and buttonhole

Sixth class
How to make a collar and lapel
