Discover how you can not only repair clothes with needle and thread, but also tell stories. In this warm and creative workshop, you will learn the art of sashiko and visible mending – techniques that breathe new life into damaged garments in a personal and visible way.

— Practice visible mending, proudly showcasing repairs
— Get to know darning, a subtle technique to fix holes and wear
— Work with stencils or design your own Sashiko pattern
— Bring your own worn garment to repair or enhance

Classes are provided in English and Dutch.

INCLUDED:
Yarns and needle to use during the workshop, templates, and material to practice, and of course tea and coffee. If you couldn’t finish your work and want to ginish it at home, you are welcome to take the thread you were using during the workshop with you.
