We all have clothes in our wardrobe that we no longer wear, or leftover fabrics from previous sewing projects that seem too small for a new creation. But throwing them away is not necessary! These materials can become the starting point for a creative and unique upcycling project.

Bring an old garment, a piece of fabric, or other materials you have at home to the workshop. Together, we will explore how to give your items a new life. With creative techniques, inspiration, and a little imagination, we will transform something unused into something beautiful and new.

During this workshop, you will learn to look at clothing and materials in a different way and discover how simple adjustments can help you create a personal and sustainable design.

During this workshop:

  • Discover how to give existing garments and fabrics a new life through creative upcycling techniques.
  • Learn different techniques such as altering clothing, adding panels, combining fabrics, and working with patchwork.
  • Give an old pair of denim jeans a fresh look by adding colourful or contrasting panels to the side seams.
  • Transform different garments or leftover fabrics into a new design, such as a unique skirt, bag, top, or another personal creation.
  • Experiment with combining materials, shapes, and details to bring your own style and ideas to life.
  • Receive personal guidance and learn how creativity and simple techniques can turn existing clothing into something new.
  • Go home with a unique, handmade item that is not only beautiful but also carries a sustainable story.
