POP up workshop Antwerp | Pattern Drafting from an Existing Garment

Atelier Aida is coming to Antwerp for a pop-up workshop at the city’s most inspiring fabric store: Bakermat!
In this workshop, you’ll learn the art of creating a sewing pattern based on an existing garment—capturing the essence of your favorite piece of clothing. Bring that one item you love to wear, and we’ll guide you step by step in drafting a precise pattern from it.

Included in this workshop is a €50 voucher to spend on fabric at Bakermat, allowing you to recreate your favorite piece in a beautiful new textile.

During the 4-hour session, you will create a complete sewing pattern from your brought-in garment ready to be used for cutting your fabric. You’ll go home with a pattern that allows you to recreate your beloved clothing item whenever you want!

With this skill, not only can you reproduce your favorite piece, but you’ll also gain the freedom to customize and recreate it in various fabrics and styles. Imagine turning your most-worn outfit into a timeless pattern you can use again and again.
