Pattern Drafting | Skirt

In this course, you will learn to make a basic block for a skirt that is tailored to your unique size, for both male and female figures. After making this on paper, you continue to make a sample to get the fit perfect. After this, you can let your imagination run wild and design the exact skirt that you want to make. You bring fabric and sew your exclusive design, using some cool sewing techniques such as installing a zipper, constructing pockets, and hemming. Classes are provided in English and Dutch.

First class
Basic pattern drawing and sample

Second class
Making adjustments to the basic block, discussing desired design, starting with pattern modifications, making design samples, and fitting

Third and Fourth class
Pattern adjustment based on the fitting, cutting of the fabric, preparation, and construction of your skirt.

Possible continuation
The duration of the course is based on an average level of sewing skills and not-too-difficult fabric. If you cannot complete the project within this time, you can purchase extra time with Sewing Club hours.
