The Wrap Coat | male

Description

A long coat that closes off-center. One curved edge crosses over the other. Two buttons show at the neck and shoulder, but the real closure is couture — a hidden bound buttonhole under the wrap that carries the weight of the coat.

Cut wide with raglan sleeves, single welt pockets set low into the front, and a cuff with a built-in strap tab.

CONSTRUCTION & FINISHING

• Front closure: exposed double button at neck and shoulder + hidden internal buttonholes  with under placket — couture technique to anchor heavy wool without pulling
• Fully faced at front with lining, clean inside with no raw edges
• Single welt pockets — single lip, reinforced, minimal opening
• Raglan sleeves with clean interior seam finishing
• Edge topstitching 1cm along curved front to hold the shape
• Cuff strap tab with button, reinforced
• Stand collar
