CONTENT OF THE COURSE
In this course, you will learn to make a basic block for a bodice that is tailored to your unique size, for both male and female figures. After creating a pattern block, you make a sample to get the fit perfect. After this, you can let your imagination run wild and design the exact bodice that you want to make. You bring fabric and sew your exclusive design.
You can also purchase this course and follow the lessons as open sessions, where you can decide how to use the hours and structure the lessons yourself.
First class
Drafting the basic pattern for the bodice based on your measurements, drawing the sleeve pattern, starting with making the sample
Second class
Complete the sample, fitting, and adjustments to the basic pattern, discuss the desired design and modify the basic pattern to your desired design.
Third class
Making the sample of the modified pattern and fitting.
Fourth class
Adjusting the required changes to your final pattern, cutting the pattern on the actual fabric, and preparing for sewing the final design.
Fifth and sixth class
Executing the bodice, sewing, and finishings.
Possible continuation
The duration of the course is based on an average level of sewing skills and not-too-difficult fabric. If you cannot complete the project within this time, you can purchase extra time with Sewing Club hours.
Classes are provided in English and Dutch.

6 weekly 3-hour classes. If you haven’t finished your own design within this time, you can purchase credits for Sewing Club hours.
