Day 1 Taking Measurements, Drawing a Bodice and Sleeve Pattern +Cutting and Making a Muslin + Fixing Fit Issues
In the first lesson, you will learn how to take accurate measurements and how to draw a basic pattern for the bodice and sleeve, focus on cutting your pattern from fabric and making a muslin. You will learn:

• How to take your measurements for the bodice (bust, waist, shoulders, etc.).
• How to draw a basic bodice pattern, adjusting proportions and fit based on your measurements.
• How to draw a sleeve pattern, discussing different sleeve types (e.g., drafting a straight sleeve or one with a small pleat).
• How to cut and assemble the muslin for the bodice and sleeves.
• How to test the fit of the muslin and identify any fit issues (such as tight shoulders, a loose waist, or long sleeves).
• How to adjust the pattern based on the fit issues you find, ensuring the pattern fits perfectly.

Day 2 Drawing a Pant Pattern, Cutting and Making a Muslin + Fixing Fit Issues for the Pants
In this lesson, you will learn how to draw the basic pattern for pants, focus on making a muslin. You will learn:

• How to take measurements for the pants (hips, waist, inseam, etc.).
• How to draw a basic pants pattern, adjusting the fit and leg shape to suit your body.
• How to discuss different pant styles (e.g., straight-leg, slim fit, or wide-leg).
• How to cut and assemble the muslin for the pants.
• How to test the fit of the pants and identify any fit issues such as tight hips, long inseams, or incorrect waist height.
• How to adjust the pattern based on the fit issues you find, ensuring the pants fit perfectly.
